I am employed as Internet Director for Paul D. Cummings Enterprises, a privately-owned company. Paul is a renowned speaker and educator with a focus on sales and leadership training in the automotive and corporate industries. My responsibility with Paul Cummings includes various project management responsibilities, maintenance of over 1,500 streaming video-on-demand training courses, accessible online through our training portal, Paul TV Live. As Internet Director, I am a Project Leader for a major automotive manufactureÃ‚â€™s private labeled, online education network of over 1,750 3-6 minute video courses offered to 30,000 + employees. In this role, my responsibilities have been focused on coordinating the evolution of this cumbrous undertaking; from the initial planning, to the successful launch in October, 2007. My individual responsibilities included overseeing technical, content organization, production and program development, online and offline marketing initiatives. I have hand-on experience working with multiple outside vendors and in-house and external resources.
In interactive projects, I take assigned responsibilities in the direction of project workflow from a concept to a timely on schedule, in scope, on budget completion and subsequent lifecycle management. I’m hands-on in creating and editing monthly video email blasts to 750+ automotive dealers, developing dealer Web sites, managing online live event registration, generating various activity reports and producing PowerPoint presentations for live events and booth design for conventions. I take an active role in proposal writing and presentation, proofreading and providing creative concepts for new products and collateral.
In 2008 I championed the initial pilot and framework for an online video-on-demand system, and have been a key contributor in the research and development of our own video learning management system.
Previously, I spent three years as the Web Designer for the Orange County/Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau, the official Web site and marketing agency for Orange County, Florida. In this position I also demonstrated strong project coordination, research and trafficking skills, working closely with various departments within the Convention and Visitors Bureau and direct interfacing with clients like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, various major Orlando area hotel chains. I also managed the Convention and Visitor Bureau’s online attraction ticket sales Web site, monthly sweepstakes and several international market micro sites. Another important task was to monitor and report on site activity, trends and the tracking/trafficking of external campaign response, reporting directly to the President and Vice President of Marketing. Both these positions found me in a production, leadership and marketing roles, while providing timely and scheduled information to very large audiences (Over one million unique visitors a month). I have years of hands-on experience with managing multiple projects and efficiently coordinating project milestones and deadlines with excellent follow-through on a day-to-day basis.
